After several successful and critically acclaimed projects with Nacho Picasso, Seattle production duo Blue Sky Black Death have branched out and collaborated on a release with another MC. This time, it’s Charlotte, N.C.’s Deniro Farrar, known for his work with Shady Blaze, Potholes Music’s own BK Beats, and more. Like Nacho, Farrar is a choice complement to BSBD’s gorgeous shoegazing instrumentals, which also pack a serious punch in terms of bass. The EP, Cliff of Death, is hopefully a sign of more joint efforts to come from these guys, and I’m also crossing my fingers that they continue working with Child Actor.
