Blue Sky Black Death – “Carl Sagan”

From their instrumentals to their beats crafted for MCs to that awesome project with Yes Alexander, I can safely say Blue Sky Black Death has something for everyone. Personally, I favored that Slow Burning Lights album with Ms. Alexander. The eerie, trip-hop-esque beats paired with her sultry voice made for one hell of an LP. But here, the production duo is showcasing the first leak, “Carl Sagan”, off their forthcoming Third Party album. The track features Alexander Chen on the vocal tip and, like the aforementioned singer, he complements the duo’s darker production style. It’s a noisy, yet pleasant take on a more straightforward indie rock sound and it makes for a pretty nice listen.
