Blu and Knxwledge connected for a pair of tracks on Sweeney Kovar’s Classic Drug References compilation that includes cuts we recently featured from Ras G & Zeroh and Danny Brown & Mndsgn. Yeah, dude basically rounded up all our favorite artists and got new material from them, which is, obviously, awesome. The same adjective can be thrown at Blu and Knx’s “Draginbreff”, a brassy and blunted romp that I wish would lead to a full album from these two. Who knows if that will ever happen, though it totally could based on their prolific ways and knack for collaborating.
