Blu is going to do whatever the hell he wants, and he doesn’t give a damn what you think. The sooner we realize this, the sooner we are going to be able to appreciate Blu for who he really is. But who is Blu? I mean, ever since his classic Below The Heavens, all of his music has been borderline insane (for better, or for worse). With a major label debut on the way in NoYork!, Blu decided it was time to drop off an LP with a rather interesting title, je s u s. Only God knows what that title is supposed to mean, but I do know that it is the first time I have ever seen the man type a word with spaces in it. But regardless of what it is called, or how Blu is going about releasing it, the project boasts production from Alchemist, Madlib, Hezekiah, Knxwledge, and Blu himself. If that doesn’t have you interested, you might as well just give up on hip-hop, because production lineups really don’t get any better. The project is available for purchase and stream now, and has a release date set for June 1.

Agree with Adam.
What’s with the subpar mastering/mixing? I love Blu, and it makes it all the more annoying that the sound quality is bad.
whatifiwas, in particular.. I like the song a lot. But this prevents me from fully enjoying it. Vocals are too loud.
Then you click on a song like 4u and you can barely hear it.
I did even bother with the godleebarnes lp it was so bad. So I guess this is an improvement
Awesome production. On some tracks like “ontheporch” and “whatifiwas” I wish they would turn down the vocals a little. I love the rough edit sound Blu goes with but it’s usually not that overpowering over the intrumental. Nothing against Blu on these tracks. I just feel his voice could compliment the track more at a reasonable volume.
I support this guy. No hype no gimmicks just good music.
i thought it was free? its not available for free on his bandcamp.. lol pce
This joint is not free … its $10
