Black EL – “MILF & Cookies”

I was certainly a fan of the tracks I had heard from Black EL in the past, especially his debut, A Major Minority. And, to be completely transparent, I admittedly have a soft-spot for local talent as I don’t think the slightly under-the-radar acts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, where EL is from, get enough love. Anyway, here we have the first track to get us prepared for his forthcoming Color Commentary project, which features production solely from Durkin. While this ode to older sexy women, “MILF & Cookies”, won’t appear on that album, it serves as a very nice re-introduction to Black EL. Oh, and in case you were wondering, EL absolutely rips it across a loop from Bumblebeez’ “Black Dirt”, which complements this MC’s fiery pace.
