Some DJs have light shows accompany them. Some do it the ole fashioned way with just a crate of records at their side. Rhymesayer’s BK-One has a whole damn brass band. “Tema DO Canibal” off of his album Rádio Do Canibal gets the visual treatment it deserves with turntables running and trombones blaring. Live bands beat canned background noise every time. The music is awesome. The performance is organic with actual instruments in your face. Too bad you weren’t there.
