Remember that ridiculously dope Fela Soul project pairing up Fela Kuti instrumentals and De La Soul vocals that dropped last year? Well, the artist behind it, Amerigo Gazaway, is back with another winning mash-up project in Bizarre Tribe: A Quest To The Pharcyde. As you might have guessed, it blends together vocals from The Pharcyde and beats from A Tribe Called Quest to create something entirely new.
We’re getting our first taste of the project here in “Runnin'”, which is just as dope and well executed as you would hope. And we couldn’t be more excited to premiere the track here at Potholes as we wait for the full project to drop on Sept. 13.
