Bill Ding – Jawn Dough [EP]

I’ve been waiting on a new project from rapper-producer Bill Ding for a minute, if only because I feel like the world needs more free association raps over menacing beats. Jawn Dough delivers a strong dose of that potion right from the jump with the huge title track, which is filled with sharp slights directed at his peers. He also follows it up with a song called “Babies On Ma Ceiling”, because of course he does. From there, the beats and rhymes only get more blunted and, at times, haunting. Pepperboy, Lakutis, and DVS are the only guests, and they all show up on the fight-someone-right-now banger “Editgod”.
