Am I the only one who thinks that a lot of people slept pretty hard on Bilal’s Airtight’s Revenge? I know it received glowing reviews across the board, but I still feel like most of us forgot about it after a few months. Maybe I’m wrong, but either way, I’m really glad to see he’s still out there pushing the record as much as possible. He stopped by BBC 1 to perform a live set that included “Levels”, one of my favorite tracks off Airtight’s Revenge. The thing is, he did it completely acoustic so you can forget about hearing Shafiq Husayn’s spacey production here. It’s just Bilal’s amazing vocals and an acoustic guitar. Beautiful.
