Big K.R.I.T. – “Before There Wuz Here”

The good folks over at Yours Truly recently linked up with Big K.R.I.T. and his Cinematic Music Group collective to put together a new spin on his 2010 album, K.R.I.T. Wuz Here. On Before There Wuz Here (The Excavation) Big K.R.I.T. provides a track by track breakdown of every song, from the sample in the beat to the lyrics. Big Krit’s upcoming Def Jam debut The Return of Forever is set for a 2011 release as well as an untitled EP with Grillade as his backing band. There’s also a collaboration album he has planned with Yelawolf in the works. Please check out the new mixtape and let us know what you think. [via]
