Before you roll your eyes at the concept of yet another year-end mash-up, just hold up a second. Brothers and Sir Lucious… were two of our favorite albums of 2010, so naturally we were dubious. But this sounds like Blakroc should have sounded. Big Boi comes to life (again) on top of the Black Keys’ bluesy back-beats and Dan Auerbach lays a hook with the best of them in any genre. It all flows with surprising facility to form an entertaining listen. So give it a go. It’s not like people are working today anyways.
