Happy Friday, errybody. Shit, I’m exhausted. Those of you who follow me on Twitter probably already know the great news, but I wanted to share it with y’all. I proposed to my girlfriend of three years, Potholes’ own Mallory Pickard, during the Foreign Exchange concert last night in Raleigh. Yeah, so I’m kind of floating right now and am a little out of it, which means I’m not really keen on doing the normal rundown of big news stories. BUT WAIT IT WAS A SLOW WEEK ANYWAY. I don’t know what happened but there really wasn’t much of anything happening aside from, like, Flying Lotus and Tyler, the Creator dissing the YouTube Music Awards.
Anyway, here are the best songs that dropped. There were a lot:
- Roc Marciano – “The Specialist”
- Lee Bannon – “216”
- Black Milk & A K U A – “Puddles”
- Yancey Boys – “Jeep Volume”
- Built to Fade – “Willie Sutton”
- Busdriver & Open Mike Eagle – “Elephant In The Pressroom” F. Jeremiah Jae
- Kelela – “Go All Night” P. Morri$
- Jonwayne – “The Come Up Pt. 1″ F. Scoop DeVille
- Julian Malone – “Letter from a King”
- Ab-Soul – “Dub Sac”
