Best Albums of 2012 So Far

Given the decent amount of high scores we’ve given over the past six months, it should go without saying that 2012 has been a solid year so far for music. And today, we’re highlighting our 15 favorite albums of the first half of the year. It’s a list that was a lot more difficult to assemble than we originally thought and we had to leave some damn-good projects off. Those include the latest releases from THEESatisfaction, Gangrene, Big Baby Gandhi, Fiona Apple, House Shoes, RYAT, Oh No, and Burial, just to name a few. But we’re confident that the 15 we choose not only perfectly represent Potholes, but they also happen to be the best we’ve heard thus far.
