Those of you who are heavy into digging through MySpace and Soundcloud pages for new music might be familiar with the work of New York producer Benny B. Blonco. A few years back, he seemed poised to become one of the bigger names in the beat scene as he was dropping neck-breaking 8bit tracks and working with the likes of Dibia$e. But in 2010, Blonco suddenly disappeared. While you can still find his music on those aforementioned sites, he hasn’t been heard from since then and it’s left many wondering what to do with the songs he left behind.
That’s where Error Broadcast and Spindat Productions come in. They gathered all the material they could from the then-rising producer and compiled it to create the Random Knocks compilation. They also did their best to restore the music the best they could. And before the whole thing drops next week, we’re proud to bring you the first leak in the monstrous “That Girl”. Seriously, if you’re not listening to this at full volume or on some good headphones, you’re doing yourself, and the track, a huge disservice. You’ll understand once you hit play.
You can hear the track below.
