With Prodigy out of the big house (that happened to be nestled in a small upstate N.Y. town) there has been a lot more attention paid to the group that threatened to “stab your brain with your nose bone.”
So, with all the attention paid to the group who influenced plenty of little thunn’s, I was pleasantly surprised to hear a techno house song with a Mobb Deep sample made by Benjamin Damage & Doc Daneeka. The two artists signed to Modeselektor’s 50 Weapons label put out their “Creeper/Infamous” release this month and it’s making me rethink my opposition to anything with the label techno.
