Find a nice spot to crash. Throw on some headphones, play “Midori” and know what it’s like to relax after a hard days work. Now 17 years old, Sunik Kim is gearing up for his second big release, Tokyo Dreamer. At 16 he released an album that had blogs everywhere asking, “Who is this kid and where can I get more music?” Thankfully, he’s been churning out hip-hop inspired tunes that turn chill into slouch-on-the-couch-and-forget-about-your-troubles music. I’ve almost forgot what to write here because this song has me lost in it. The track is expansive employing static, distant vocals and smooth as butter piano chords.
