Here we have the latest leak from Basic Vocab’s A Better Way, which is available now for purchase on iTunes. Potholes writer Chris Soriano was digging the album when he reviewed it a few months ago following its release. A few minor gripes aside, he wrote that “this is real music; grooves from the mind, body, and soul. The 305 now has a complete underground hip-hop group they can be proud of.” And after hearing most of that LP and this track especially, I can’t say I would disagree with his assessment. “Chill”, which features Rahsaan, is aptly titled and just the kind of song that makes me wish I had some better speakers in my car. Not so I could blare this at an insane level, just to appreciate the sounds here.
