Soul Assassins affiliate and smog city (L.A.) native, Bambu dropped his latest full length, One Rifle Per Family, today and to celebrate, he released the video for the latest single, Rent Money. With a dope beat from Chops, a feature verse from the mother of his child, Rocky Riviera, and the video featuring their son, watch as this family fights for money for schools rather than prison.

The record features a lot more social commentary but do not confuse it as “armchair activist catnip“. Bambu explains on the record that the music is just raising awareness and claims he actually organizes in the Los Angeles community he’s from. Don’t listen to me.
