But, I love hip-hop too much. BADBADNOTGOOD uses their jazz hands to punch out killer hip-hop covers. In July they came out swinging. They covered Odd Future, Tribe and Waka Flocka Flame, turning them inside out, stripping out the canned drums, adding in their own live, KORG playing, upright bass slapping touch. Here they take “Camel” off of Flying Lotus‘s Los Angeles and transition to a Madvillain “Rhinestone Cowboy” teaser. This cover is cool, cool, chill, ice water music. [via]
