B. Lewis, resident badass producer, just dropped a new album and it’s a kingly effort. A Lion’s Aperture is 12 tracks of glorious electronic hip-hop, soul, R&B remixes and good vibes all around. The Californian recently released a collaborative release with Xperiment and last year dropped one of our favorite instrumental albums. On “Time Travel” he re-purposes Frank Ocean vocals, on “Flash Flutter” he flips Usher’s “Climax” and it’s all to add a soulful touch to otherwise synth-filled wonderland. You’ll want to hear this.
