To avoid the inevitable UR LATE LULZ! comment, I’d like to make it clear that yes, we’re late to posting this. But we thankfully came across German producer B-Ju’s swoon-worthy work this weekend while perusing the Soundcloud and Bandcamp universe(s?). Most recently, he dropped the unfortunately titled Rapes EP that features three remixes of tracks from Gucci Mane, Guilty Simpson, and 8Ball. As you might (not) expect, we’re particularly taken by the celestial take on Gucci’s “I’m Da Shit”, a track that’s become a go-to of sorts for deft producers.
