It’s safe to say that “212” by New York grown rapper Azealia Banks is not for everyone. For the rest of us, however, Banks’ is definitely on to something. The in your club friendly production provided by Lazy Jay, and some choice uses of the c-word pair up for a particularly in your face, and potent track. From graphic verses, some nice vocals, and something in between rapping and screaming, the song pretty much has it all. The video perfectly catches Azealia’s spunk and charm with the straight forward black and white shots of her rapping and dancing in a Mickey Mouse sweater.
