Just received the latest video from Miguel Atwood-Ferguson Ensemble featuring LA based and Brainfeeder artist, Flying Lotus. Alongside the all-star cast of musicians, they do their rendition of “Drips” from Flying Lotus’s recently released album Cosmogramma and “Take Notice,” an arrangement of a J Dilla original from his Ruff Draft EP. You might be familiar with this arrangement of “Take Notice” from Mochilla’s “Timeless” DVD Box Set, specifically from the Suite for Ma Dukes portion. If you haven’t ordered the Timeless DVD box set featuring Suite for Ma Dukes its a definitely a worthy purchase.

Phonte and Nicolay are back with their lead single “Maybe She’ll Dream Of Me” off their upcoming new album Authenticity. After giving us the Grammy nominated Leave It All Behind the new song picks up right where they left off with the last album. “Maybe She’ll Dream Of Me” is a smooth and soulful track. Did I mention Phonte is rapping on this new joint? Nicolay adds some great production as does Zo! on the piano. Their new album Authenticity drops Oct. 12. “Speakers On Blast” is the second leak off Skyzoo & Illmind’s upcoming collaborative effort Live From the Tapedeck. Based on mixtape material and The Salvation, Skyzoo and !llmind have a proven track record and this latest track is another winner.
