The development of Atmosphere over recent years has been interesting. They’ve somehow found a way to continuously reinvent their sound, all the while not alienating their core base of fans. Today the rap duo of Slug and Ant make their next move by announcing the forthcoming release of Southsiders, which comes along with a lead single for our listening pleasure. The track is built on a gloomy, synth driven beat, which Slug uses to create another catchy sing-a-long melody he has become famous for.
Stream “Bitter” below. Southsiders is set to drop May 6.

I couldn’t agree more with Addie.. he sound’s like an old man.. and no longer the slug I used to rock to on a constant.. ant.. where is a dope sample at? where’s the classic hi-hat.. um… what
This is fucking terrible
This is pretty weak, the hook is super weak, the beat is not what I come to expect from Ant, seems like a throw-away atmos track. As a long time listener of this group I’m quite disappointed in this single. His cadence doesn’t seem to match the beat at all, the synth and the main sound played throughout most of the track just don’t do it. Bad news dudes.
Dope!
