While Asher Roth has been dropping tracks from his forthcoming mixtape, to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time we are being served with an official release date. With only two days to spare, Roth lets it be known The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 2 is going to drop June 25, and I have to say I am pretty damn excited. His latest single is spread into two parts, the first of which is an original production called “Pop Radio”.
The latter, though, is what I am really excited about. Taking to Exile’s beat for Mobb Deep’s “Pearly Gates”, Asher reveals all sorts of information about his initial come-up and the drama he had to deal with when “I Love College” dropped. The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 2 drops Tuesday.
