A$AP Ferg returns with a new single, “Shabba”, that serves as the follow-up to his breakout cut, “Work”. And this new Trap Lord single is more or less an ode to dancehall legend Shabba Ranks, whose name is repeated heavily throughout the hook. Aside from that and some mentions of Ranks’ jewels and love of women, this is basically your typical banger from the A$AP Mob’s self-described “hood pope.” A$AP Rocky shows up for a guest verse, though he add much beyond his usual sex raps.
