Following the release of his first solo project, Back To Basics, earlier this year, Parisian producer Around7 began recording his debut full-length. It’s called Soul On Wire and it’s set to further explore his love for sampling and jazz music. That’s apparent on the looping first single, “Strictly Business”, that sounds like something from hip-hop’s Golden Era. Seriously, I can think of at least a dozen different MCs from then (and now, really) that would absolutely murder this instrumental. Maybe it’s time more folks got wind of the talents of Around7.
