In case you missed it, Ariel Pink and his full compliment of Haunted Graffiti made their national television appearance last night on the Jimmy Fallon show. The record rightly scored huge critical acclaim and blog buzz is nice, but if you can’t replicate the sounds in front of an audience, your reach will be limited. That said, the live performance translates surprisingly well. “Round and Round” was always a jam, but springs new life last night behind live instrumentation and the impressive vocal breakdown – and those shirts!
