Did you absolutely adore Before Today by Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, too? You already know we did thanks to my personal take on the album. So you can’t blame me for being pretty goddamn excited to see that another one of our favorites, Dam-Funk, remixed Before Today‘s “Friday Night (Nevermore)”. The lo-fi aesthetic remains at the forefront of the remix by the keyboard-wielding L.A. resident. But, of course, he’s thrown layers of synthesizers into the mix, including one that sounds like it crept out of an old Nintendo cartridge. You might need some shades for this one. [via]
