We previously brought you the spectacular summer EP from the Philadelphia group Arches. On a more recent front, the group has released its follow-up, the full-length Wide Awake LP, which you can buy over at Bandcamp. Thankfully, Arches is also releasing two songs, “Headlights” and “This Isn’t a Good Night for Walking,” from the album free of charge for your listening pleasure. Both songs evoke some sort of sense of going for a nighttime drive only to discover that you can’t even really see through your windshield at all because it’s completely fogged over. Yeah, it’s a bit eerie, but also extremely relaxing and therapeutic all at once.
