Arcade Fire – “The Suburbs” (Mr. Little Jeans Cover)

Mr. Little Jeans, the stage name of Norway’s Monica Birkenes (and the name of the  janitor character in Rushmore) has spliced together a warbly, distorted and beautiful version of Arcade Fire’s  “Suburbs.”  She takes Suburb‘s opening track and subs out the old-timey piano for futuristic synths.  The result is a lush, patient banger that will fit nicely in your summer playlists.
