Apollo Brown – “Tao Te Ching”

Apollo Brown’s catalog has grown increasingly (and absurdly) strong over just the past year, what with his joint release with Boog Brown and the Left’s Gas Mask finally dropping. And it looks like he’s not ready to slow down as his latest effort — the fully instrumental Clouds — has hit iTunes today. As I’ve said regarding previous singles from the album, it’s a change of pace for the typically gritty and grimy producer. He’s more focused on atmospheric, dreamy qualities than anything else, which you can hear for yourself here with “Tao Te Ching”. Bonus points to whoever can name the sample he’s flipping here, though this shouldn’t take long.
