Andre 3000 To Release Solo Album in 2014? [UPDATED]

I know, I know, I know, we’ve all heard this story before. It seems like every year Andre 3000 comes forward to reveal that his long-awaited solo album is finally dropping. This time, he apparently broke the news while speaking with Stephen Hill, who is the president of music programming and specials for BET. The Atlanta rapper reportedly told him that he has a new movie coming soon (likely that Jimi Hendrix biopic) and that he plans to release his solo album at the top of the year. If this is true, maybe we can convince Jay Electronica and the powers that be to drop Act II in 2014, too.

UPDATE: Billboard reports that Three Stacks is NOT releasing a solo album in early 2014. A representative from the Outkast rapper revealed that there are no confirmed plans to drop this record. 🙁
