For a cast of characters that isn’t entirely bilingual, we have had Ana Tijoux on our mind a lot over the past year or so. We really enjoyed her 1977 album and subsequently adored when Waajeed chose to remix one of her tracks, “Partir de Cero“. So it only seems fitting that we would gush over her new mixtape, Elefant, that features some of her material being remixed and tossed over beats from Jake One, Jaylib, and Oddisee.

Glad I learned spanish a while ago, 1977 was slept on by you monolingual MFs. haha. Real talk though, my spanish isn’t good enough to pick everything she says up, but I can tell what most of it is & her flow is on. I’m checkin the mixtape out too. Props to this website, really turned into one of my favorites recently.
