I’m not happy to admit it, but I rode the AlunaGeorge wave pretty hard for a while there only to be incredibly let down during the lead up to their debut album. Shit, I was so disappointed by that project that I don’t even want to Google the name of it to provide better context here. Yeah, I’m a little bitter, but sometimes you just got to let that hate out of your heart, you know what I mean? Anyway, Ta-ku came through and overhauled the hell out of one of their album cuts, “Best Be Believing”, and made it not only listenable but primed for the right speaker system. Like, yeah, don’t play this remix on some horsecrap laptop speakers or earbuds.
