Album Sales Projections For The Game, Bruno Mars & Big Boi

big-boi-furYesterday marked the release of three higher profile album, coming from the likes of the Game, Bruno Mars and Big Boi. While we don’t care much about Bruno Mars, apparently it isn’t half bad for what it is. His new LP called Unorthodox Jukebox is set to pull in a promising 150,000 copies. We are certainly more interested in Game and Big Boi, though, both of which look a bit dismal on paper. Jesus Piece is set to fall short of three figures with a mediocre 75,000 copies sold, while Daddy Fat Sax might not even break 30,000 with Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. [via]

I feel that Big Boi grew as a solo artist on this album.

it is a little bit messy with the style, but after listening to it for a while I think I see where Big Boi might be heading towards when it comes to defining himself as a solo artist. the expectations were pretty high coming off his simply fantastic last album.

I am not sure whether or not if this album came out at a different time of the year.

i feel sad for Big Boi because people keep begging him about a new outkast album when I think it has to be 3 stacks who is holding it back and truthfully we just give Big Boi the attention he deserves for putting out his solo work. just because he is 1/2 of outkast does not make him any less of an artist.

Its not Big Boi’s best work, he shouldn’t feel so bad.
