Wait wait, CyHi is the WORST on Kanye’s rasta, and Big Sean had a GOOD verse on CLIQUE? You gotta be kidding me!!! Big Sean is a Drake Knock Off at best, and his verse was terrible on Clique. Best to date was Mercy, and that’s still not saying much. I agree this was a Kanye Megalomania Mixtape, and I definitely agree that some of the tracks mentioned (Higher, the One and Sin City) were just WTF out of place, and an obvious scramble of desperation, I’m not sure how you can dislike The Morning so much and give such high praise to New God Flow. They seemed like a return to classic (younger) Kanye. I agree the interaction between Pusha and Kanye’s verses on New God Flow were great and very engaging, but the beat on The Morning?!! That was soooo classic and fire. The verses were a little sloppy, over done, and un-related to each other, but the beat alone, for me, was heavy!

I was really disappointed to not find anything from Mos Def or Q-Tip, even background vocals, because that’s basically all we can get from them. I do agree with the album dying down towards the end. But I didn’t think to tie it to Kanye’s absence. It makes sense now. Kid Cudi is still so unbearable. I don’t get how that song even got picked up.

I’m gonna need some unreleased bonus tracks.

it is more like a mixtape. the very fact that Don’t LIke Remix is on there takes away from it.

Moreover I agree with a lot what you said. I was hoping for some Q-Tip, some more Mos Def. Even more Common and I was dying to hear Mannie Fresh instead of just on a mix of collective Kanye West features.

Don’t get me wrong this is an enjoyable album. However, Kanye West’s imprint is covering all the other talent. The other artists did not have a chance to shine. Only Big Sean did because he is the most similar to Ye’s style.
