I just want anyone who’s been reading/listening to know that I’ve come to enjoy “My Love” in the context of the LP. And yes, the rating is low (but I freaking hate the rating system…PIMB knows I do so it’s not a secret).

I love Apollo Brown beats, and they really have great chemistry.

I agree with Mello’s take on the reviews for this LP. I’ve seen more than a few different “best song” choices from writers – and that’s what usually determines their final opinions. I always felt that Boog’s lyrics & flow carried this project. But on “Grind Season”, i felt an even balance between her and Illastrate. Good review D.L…. I liked “My Love” a lot more than you did.

appreciated Bailey! Shout to D.L. for the review too. Reviews are fun to read, everyone has different ideas but the general trend has been positive. It’s funny, I feel the same way about My Love but that’s the most popular selling track! Likewise, I think Shine is the best track on the album (or UPS) but so far I’m the only one, lol. Just glad people are listening and enjoying the album: I know Apollo & Boog both worked hard to give their best! Shout to Potholes for the continued support!

The album is probably one of the best joints this year. Apollo provided Boog with the perfect back drops for her to showcase the skills she has. This is a 4 for me.

only given it a once over but i was blown away. had caught up on apollo brown earlier this year when i picked up the reset so i knew what to expect production-wise (even thought these are some of his best). what surprised me most was boog and how real her lyrics are (both delivery and content).

phimb says 3 but i say a must have for 2010 and probably my favorite female m.c. of all time
