It’s always good to see fresh young faces in the rap scene, so when I see new music from the 16-year-old Pittsburgh rapper Akono Miles, I get pretty stoked. Akono’s newest track “Phantom” features him pulling out some of his best bars of his short career over a very interesting, yet nonetheless fresh, upbeat violin beat. For those new to his music, this is a great introduction to the ambiguous young rapper, who is giving “Phantom” up for free via Bandcamp.
