Adebisi – “Rhythmatic” [Video]

Milwaukee rapper-turned-NYC-resident Adebisi dropped his latest mixtape The Blaxploitation last month. And now, he’s hit us with a video for the track “Rhythmatic”. Filmed at various high-traffic spots around The Big Apple, the visuals are simple: we find the emcee spitting verses around passers-by and in front of stores and graffiti murals. More or less, it depicts where we’d find him laying down lyrics – everywhere and anywhere. With an ill piano loop, a straightforward drum beat and some nearly-hidden horns, Adebisi – who’s also one of the front men for the Milwaukee live Hip-Hop act Fresh Cut Collective – has witty, relatable bars that show skill without falling victim to all that braggadocios bullshit that fills the radios airwaves these days.
