Wow, I can’t say I expected Ab-Soul’s next leak to sound like this. Especially after hearing Ab’s previous single, “SOPA“. Taking a load off of his shoulders, the man drops the furious rap style for a more laid back vibe on his new Alori Joh and JaVonte-assisted track, “Empathy”. While we knew this TDE artist was skilled, this proves yet again how vast his repertoire was. And the Jerome D.-directed visuals aren’t too shabby, either. Ab-Soul’s Control System is due out May 11.
