As soon as the strings wheeze out of your speakers on “Queens Shit”, you might question why Aasim decided to use the beat from Raekwon’s “Rich & Black”. But then Nas walks in and spits, “Yo, I’m rich, black, the 6, the ‘Lac, the Phantom, the strap, stay on my back,” and everything makes sense. You see, Nas also appeared on that Rae track, which is one of those “ooooh!” moments that makes this track that much better. Not that it needed anything like that, because this is some pure, well, “Queens Shit” through and through. Enjoy.
