A$AP Rocky’s ‘Long.Live.A$AP’ Produced By Skrillex, Clams Casino, Danger Mouse & More

A$AP Rockys Long.Live.A$AP Produced By Skrillex, Clams Casino, Danger Mouse & MoreLet’s face it, A$AP Rocky isn’t even that great of a rapper. The only reason we pay any attention to this dude is because his production is always top-notch. So, count on the production credits of Rocky’s upcoming major label debut Long.Live.A$AP to get us all sorts of excited for what would otherwise be a mediocre rap album. That’s right, Hit-Boy, Clams Casino, Skrillex, Noah “40” Shebib, Danger Mouse and more to cook up beats for this promising piece of music. That’s right, fucking Danger Mouse. Left out, though, is AraabMuzik, which we are sure to find out more about as we approach the Jan. 15 release date.

true plus Rocky can flat out just rap well. the way he plays with annunciating vowels in his rhymes to the way he can flow so effortlessly on the beat is pretty impressive.

I got mad respect for Rocky’s skills. the dude is nice and an artistically is smart. i mean not only does he pick a hot beat but he makes a hot song out of it. that is hard. some rappers get hot beats and make hot trash. Rocky made hot tracks out of beats that I honestly think that very few else could have done the same.

Agreed. Rappin is far more than the words. Dude’s got mic presence, a flow, and an original sound. There are 1511 rappers on the corner all across America that can rhyme words better yeah, but hip hop is far than being able to rhyme.

Dude, you are selling the guy wayyyy short.. Rocky may not have as much to say yet or the technical skill of a Kendrick or even a lame like J Cole, but dude’s got style and charisma to burn and yes that is a skill that cannot be taught when it comes to rapping. Yeah he can pick beats, but there’s also a reason Long.live.a$ap blew up a millions times bigger than a clams beats tape or hit-boy’s album

I’m secretly hoping that Skrillex comes out and produces the hell out of that track without his signature sound.

I’m predicting a bonus AraabMuzik track featuring Lana Del Ray. Unless Rocky realizes that they won’t be relevant for much longer in 2013.
