He Went After Shady Record Stores
For those unaware, Discogs is a website where you can buy and sell records, CDs, cassettes, etc… And many times, it’s a great spot to cop some rare stuff for a (relatively) reasonable price. But just like anything, it’s been taken advantage of by shady ass record store owners. Four Tet found out that some of his LPs were landing on Discogs with inflated prices and began investigating. He quickly found a few who were doing it, but them on blast and then took them off the distribution list for his label, Text Records. Suck it, nerds.
When record shops put stuff on discogs for inflated prices it makes me mad angry. Shops I catch will be banned from future Text releases.

Mushi Mushi in Nottingham will never get Text releases again.

Good article. It’s completly understandable that this dude knows how to propely use his twitter – after all he is not a trying hard hipster or an ignorant ego obsessed rapper. He looks like a nice intelligent dude who has things to say.
Other than his twitter (btw twitter is the worst thing ever), his music speaks louder than anything. I know that many people don’t like his last few releases but even there, he is way more creative than most modern artists who just dickride the newest lo-fi/chillwave/cloud/witch trends without originality.
We need more Kieran’s and less attention whores who have nothing to say….like todays rappers.
