88-Keys – “Wake Up Call” f. Colin Munroe & Label Announcement

While we are halting posts for the rest of Thanksgiving besides some album reviews, I thought it would be appropriate to unleash new visuals from the homie 88-Keys. You may remember “Wake Up Call” from a few years ago, as it was featured on an NBA Live mixtape. Enlisting Martin Linss and Josh Milowe, we now have a pop-up advertisement driven video to accompany the Colin Munroe assisted banger. “Wake Up Call” is available now on iTunes. [via]

With that, we also have word that 88-Keys will be launching his own label, Locksmith Music. To kick off the festivities, he will be dropping a mixtape with his roster of MCs on Dec. 1. That list of rappers include Nemo Achida, Tre DeJean, Mann95, Robert Akins III & Little Vic. Get pumped for that one, it is only the beginning of a rather promising future for 88 and his crew.
