You ever wish that a hip-hop act (note: with credibility) would step and address some of the bullshit we’re being fed every damn day as fans of the genre? Well, your wish is granted here thanks to 7L & Esoteric’s new track, “No Shots”. As implied by the title, it’s not a direct diss to anyone, merely a cutting and need observation. Sure, you might be thinking that a lot of rappers pull this shit and exude the whole “I keeps it real!” mentality. But it’s usually not pulled off this well. All of that aside, this track will appear on the duo’s forthcoming 1212 album, which is due out Oct. 12.
