From 2004 to 2011, RZA worked with Dutch singer Thea Van Seijaen on a total of 14 tracks, one of which was “Baby Boy” and landed on the soundtrack for Jet Li’s Unleashed. And according to the songstress, she received only a small amount of royalties for the music they recorded and now, she’s taking the Wu-Tang leader to court. TMZ reports that Van Seijaen was scared to bring this up to the RZA previously because she thought he would blackball her from the music industry. Wow.
