“On a clear sunny day you can see through time/ keep your friends close and enemies behind ya….” I’m not familiar with the physics of a clear sunny day and its time travelling qualities, but it’s true time flies when you’re having fun. And, I’m having fun listening to this ’90s throwback inspired EP. 513 Elevators are a four member hip-hop group originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. They’re pretty fly cats. The Clouds is a three track EP with gorgeous boom bap production, vinyl scratching and tons of cloud cover imagery. Oh, and there is a dope, hazy Oh No feature that has truly elevated lyricism.
