Why You Should Listen: A.Dd+ is the culmination of such hip-hop luminaries as UGK and Outkast. Drawing off of those that came before them, the duo’s unique brand of intellectual street raps and crisp production puts them in a league of their own. Teamed up with some of Dallas’ best and Black Milk, A.Dd+ is a local operation with room for international expansion. Their 2011 full-length, When Pigs Fly, put the duo on the map, but their most fruitful days are still ahead of them.

And the future is already upon us, as Slim Gravy and Paris Pershun have slowly put in motion the promotional trail leading up to the release of their forthcoming DiveHiFlyLo. Such singles as “Suitcases” showcase the rising group’s ability to blend accessible thumping beats with equally playful hooks.
