The BET Awards represent everything terrible in hip-hop, that is nearly a fact. But every year they put out their cypher series, which does tap into some rather talented MCs. Among that list is a fabulous cypher brought to us by Shady Records, including Eminem, Slaughterhouse, and Yelawolf. It isn’t a usual occurrence to see all of these heavyweights in one room spitting freestyles, so we can at least thank BET for that. Another cypher worth noting is one between some newcomers in the game like Big K.R.I.T., Machine Gun Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, B.o.B. and veteran Tech N9ne. There were some other performances, which included Ludacris, Estelle, Tyga, and more, but let’s just try and pretend that never happened.
Hit the skip to check out the cyphers that are worth your precious time.

if you think BOB and Machine Gun Kelly are a dope rappers you got problems. I really don’t think Machine Gun Kelly’s style is genuine. Diddy’s present day artists never succeed. Watch and learn. and stop running your ignorant ass mouth. and take DILLA out your name. there is ONLY 1 Dilla.
You should watch what you say with the word DILLA attached to your name.
What the UFF are you talkin’ ’bout…???
Both B.O.B. & Machine Gun were SOLID…!!!
PEACE…HATER.
Even Chris Brown can rap better than BOB. Tyga kills it. We should’ve pretended that this BOB rap never happened. Machine Gun Kelly epic fail
Too bad Kendrick Lamar had to rap with the wack ass Machine Gun Kelly and BOB. Worst rappers alive
These definitely were the strongest. There were some memorable bars from the others too. If only there was a way to edit those all together without Viacom pulling the plug.
Kendrick Lamar means business. Such a confident yet cool delivery. MGK on the other hand is uncomfortable to watch…
